1 cup of flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut
110 grams butter (melted)
Mix the butter with dry ingredients and press into a greased sandwich tin.
Bake in 180 degree moderate oven until golden brown about 15 mins
1 can condense milk
1/4 cup golden syrup

Stir over a low heat until butter melted and the mixture thickens (don’t worry if it does not thicken) As long as you have been stirring it for about 7 mins.
Pour over the base and return to oven until the caramel bubbles and goes golden brown.
Chill the square for a couple of hours
Ice with chocolate icing.

knob of butter
Mix with hot water until nice and smooth.
