The weekend always has an air of anticipation and endless cooking possibilities. I have been thinking about making bread for awhile now and I don’t mean the easy bread recipes that you throw together in 5 mins. But a real yeast, rising, and kneading recipe that delivers beautiful bread. I was thinking about having a go at about a 8 hour process such as Julia’s Pain Francais (french bread). Firstly will need to get up early and buy the fresh ingredients and start the dough early. The second thing I would love to make is Julia’s fit for a queen chocolatey gooey velvet smooth almond cake. This cake is world renown and the recipe tested by so many except me! So will post my attempt later.
