Breadmaking

The weekend always has an air of anticipation and endless cooking possibilities. I have been thinking about making bread for awhile now and I don’t mean the easy bread recipes that you throw together in 5 mins. But a real yeast, rising, and kneading recipe that delivers beautiful bread. I was thinking about having a go at about a 8 hour process such as Julia’s Pain Francais (french bread). Firstly will need to get up early and buy the fresh ingredients and start the dough early. The second thing I would love to make is Julia’s fit for a queen chocolatey gooey velvet smooth almond cake. This cake is world renown and the recipe tested by so many except me! So will post my attempt later. In the meantime need to go shopping and leave you with this thought from Julia “The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking you’ve got to have a what-the-hell attitude.
